CALL YOUR AGENT OR CALL THE COMPANY AS SOON AS THE CLAIM HAS OCCURRED.  REPORT THE DATE AND TIME OF THE CLAIM, A TELEPHONE NUMBER YOU CAN BE REACHED, THE NATURE OF THE CLAIM AND THE EXTENT OF THE DAMAGE

YOU MAY CALL YOUR AGENT OR VISIT HIS OR HER AGENCY TO REQUEST A CHANGE BE MADE TO YOUR POLICY.

 

WHAT ARE MY BILLING OPTIONS?

YOU MAY PAY YOUR PREMIUM ON AN ANNUAL BASIS.  YOU MAY ALSO CHOOSE TO PAY YOUR PREMIUM ON A SEMI-ANNUAL OR QUARTER-ANNUAL BASIS.  THERE IS A $5.00 FINANCE CHARGE APPLIED TO THE SEMI- AND QUARTER-ANNUAL BILLING.


HOW CAN I MAKE MY PAYMENT?

YOU MAY MAIL YOUR PREMIUM INTO THE COMPANY, THE AGENT OR PLACE IN THE DROP BOX AT THE COMPANY.  SOME OF THE AGENTS HAVE A DROP BOX AT THEIR AGENCY.  YOU MAY PAY WITH A PERSONAL CHECK, MONEY ORDER, CASHIERS CHECK, CREDIT CARD CHECK OR WITH CASH.  SOME OF THE PREMIUMS ARE PAID THROUGH YOUR ESCROW ACCOUNT WITH YOUR MORTGAGEE COMPANY.

YOU MAY CALL YOUR AGENT OR CONTACT THE COMPANY DIRECTLY.

  1. ALWAYS READ ANY INSERTS INCLUDED IN YOUR BILLING NOTICE.
  2. PERIODICALLY CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOUR POLICY IS CORRECT: MORTGAGE, COVERAGE AMOUNTS, AND LISTED NAMES ETC
  3. PROMPTLY REPORT ANY CHANGES OR CANCELLATIONS TO YOUR AGENT.
  4. REGULARLY INSPECT YOUR INSURED PROPERTIES FOR LOSS OR DAMAGE (I.E. RENTAL PROPERTIES, SEASONAL DWELLINGS, BASEMENTS, INFREQUENTED BUILDINGS, ETC.).
  5. WHEN YOU HIRE SOMEONE TO MAKE YOUR REPAIRS IT IS YOUR CHOICE ON WHOM TO USE.  HOWEVER, WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU USE LOCAL REPAIRMEN AND NOT WHAT WE CALL THE STORM CHASERS.  THE STORM CHASERS ARE HARD TO FIND IF YOU HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THEIR WORKMANSHIP.
